Beauty in the Unexpected

This rusty barrel sits in our back yard.   It is old, ugly and forgotten. Life is More

There comes a time each week during the Monday night small group gathering at my church where we take time to inquire as to how we can pray for each other in the upcoming week. Recently at the conclusion of our gathering ; someone made a comment, almost in passing; she said, “It’s always something isn’t it.” We all smiled and chuckled quietly in agreement before folding our hands in prayer and then dispersing quietly into the night, back to our everyday lives.

“Christmas shopping is over; I’m not buying a single thing more!”
