This past weekend, I had the privilege of attending Circle of Friends’ conference with Carol Kent “Between a Rock and a Grace Place.” My friend Susie and I were so excited to leave our young children in the capable hands of their fathers and have a mini girls weekend away. For ten miles, we hopped logs, jumped little streams, dodged rocks and climbed hills. It was the most strenuous and rewarding ten miles I have ever run.
