Resolution: Don't live like I drive

My husband doesn’t like my driving. I really can’t blame him. It’s not that I’m reckless, I’m just not that good at it. I tend to get distracted, writing stories in my head and people-watching other drivers. Is he picking his nose or just adjusting his glasses? Is she really putting on her lipstick while driving? Not that I’m any better than them, I like to watch them more than the road!

I wish you a Merry Christmas, I wish you a Merry Christmas, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Our “Merry Christmas” will look a little different this year. Our family grew this summer, with growth comes change. We are all about change, recognizing the necessity of it in order to keep things fresh, alive. But the change in our Christmas tradition has been a little harder to accept.

Confessions of a Peace Lover...

The beauty of writing a weekly blog for the past two and a half years is it has made me look at life from a new perspective. A blog perspective, and the hope each week is that the blog perspective is always being shaped by the God-perspective I want to live by. Activities and ideas still happen at their usual pace in life but knowing every week there is a blog that needs to be written gives reason to look at all things with an eye toward a deeper meaning.
