Today I felt lonely.
I was longing for something to fill a void, to calm my nerves. My first thought was to call a friend and cry. Don’t get me wrong, God has placed wonderful friends in my life who would be there for me in a heartbeat. But what if my first instinct was to call on God for comfort? It was a “snowglobe” kind of day. Big fluffy snowflakes were falling. I grabbed my camera so I could capture the beauty. As I peered through the lens, I was amazed at the detail of each delicate snowflake. My daughter later asked me, “Mom, how can each snowflake be so different? How can God make so many different designs? Haven’t all the designs been used up?” I answered back, “I don’t know how God does it. It’s amazing, isn’t it? It’s beyond our understanding.”
