I love country music because it’s about real life. A current song out now is “Hard to Love” by Lee Brice. As I listen to the lyrics, faces of people cross my mind.  People who are hard to love, and the people who love them.

I have the privilege to work with a wide range of people. Being a people-helper, I learn more than I give.  I learn about commitment, heartache, and loyalty from people who stand beside others when the world would say,

Not the loving-someone-who-loves-you-back kind, but the loving-someone-who-doesn’t-reciprocate kind. Loving when you’ve been wounded, you’ve forgiven, and you desire genuine restoration.
